Theme Review: Capiton an ultra minimal portfolio WordPress theme
This is my review of the Capiton WordPress portfolio theme by the recently launched theme company ThemeFurnace. The company is run by Dale Oliver, the man behind wplift.com. I’m a real sucker for minimalist WordPress themes, particularly themes that work right out of the box and in this respect Capiton doesn’t disappoint.
Capiton does pretty much everything by the book. There are no major surprises here and that’s possibly one of its few weaknesses. Although it depends what you’re looking for. If it’s tried and tested design then Capiton delivers well. If it’s innovation and breaking out of the mould, then it fares less well.
